Ingredients
  

  • 8 tbsp salted butter
  • 0.5 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 5 cups Rice Chex Cereal
  • 1 cup mini pretzel sticks
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 cups holiday M&Ms

  • large mixing bowl
  • gallon-size resealable plastic bag
  • baking sheet with parchment paper

Method
 

  1. In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the butter, peanut butter, and chocolate chips.
  2. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until the mixture is melted and smooth (about 1–2 minutes).
  3. In a large bowl, gently mix the Rice Chex and pretzel sticks.
  4. Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the cereal and pretzels.
  5. Use a spatula to gently stir until everything is evenly coated.
  6. Transfer the coated mix to a large resealable plastic bag and add the powdered sugar.
  7. Seal the bag and shake until all pieces are coated with powdered sugar.
  8. Spread the mixture on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let it cool for 15–20 minutes.
  9. Once cool, stir in the M&Ms and serve or store.
