- Place a large non-stick pot or Dutch oven over low heat. Add 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter and melt completely.
- Add 10 ounces (about 6 cups) of mini marshmallows. Stir continuously until melted and smooth.
- Remove pot from heat. Stir in 1 tablespoon of half and half until fully combined.
- Quickly add 6 cups of crisped rice cereal, 1.5 cups of M&Ms, and 3 tablespoons of sprinkles. Stir gently to combine.
- Line an 8x8 or 9x9 pan with parchment. Transfer mixture and gently press into an even layer.
- Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon red and green sprinkle sugar. Let cool at room temperature for at least 1 hour.
- Lift treats from pan using parchment and cut into 12 squares with a greased knife.
